Team Pink are ‘In the Stars’!

Hello Everyone! It’s challenge time over at Eclectic Ellapu again, and this time the lovely Dawn is hosting! The theme that she has chosen is ‘In the Stars’, which can be interpreted any way you like! The Design Team have all gone along the astrological route, and this is my creation…

Astrological

I will admit I was rather stumped with this one, but I thought a tag was a safe option as they always come in handy!!I have layered different blue paper after cutting their edges with a Martha Stewart border punch. They haven’t come out too well on the photo, but they are there!!

Please pop along to Eclectic Ellapu to see what the rest of the Pink Team came up with!

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Love is in the air!

Hello Everyone! Well, it’s challenge time over at Eclectic Ellapu again, and this time it’s my turn to host! My challenge theme for this week is ‘Anniversary, Engagement or Wedding’! As Spring is in the air there are always lots of weddings and engagements planned, so a good way to get a head start. Our anniversary was on Friday, so this is the card I made for my very understanding other half…

Anniversary

I kept the card very simple, especially as it was going to a man, and as you all know, I’m not very good with male cards! I used my Xcut dies for the two hearts, and embossed them with Antique Silver Frantage. I did quite a few layers to get the hammered metal look, and he really liked it!

I would like to enter the following challenges please:
Card Makin Mamas – No patterned papers
Crafty Catz – Anything Goes

Thank you for popping by, and please remember to check out the rest of the Pink Team’s creations – they are all really beautiful!

Please stop by again soon!

Lola’s 2nd Birthday

Hi All! Well, time has flown, and our great-niece Lola turned 2 a few weeks ago. We had a lovely party at the nursery with a Peppa Pig themed party, so of course we had to have a Peppa Pig cake! Typically, I left it til the night before to make again, but it didn’t turn out too bad!

Lola 2nd

I don’t think I’d win cake decorator of the year award, but Lola was really thrilled with it and that’s all that matters!!

Please pop back tomorrow, as it’s time for another challenge at Eclectic Ellapu!
