My card today is just very girly - roses and a butterfly and lots of pink!! Beautiful Spellbinder dies and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Persian inspired

Morning friends! Back to work today, no children yet though, so should be fairly peaceful!!

I haven't put a sentiment on my card today, it's just nice to have one in my stash that I can use for any occasion.

The dies are from Spellbinders Persian Accents - absolutely love them!

Birthday Club

Morning friends! Bank holiday Monday - the house is quiet, the whole day stretched out in front - lots of crafting to come!!

My card today is for Ann, who is part of the Birthday Club I joined. It is really difficult making a card for someone who you don't know, so I have kept it as simple and generic as possible!

I love brown and pink together, and Spellbinder dies can make anything look really elegant! I hope Ann likes it!

Back tomorrow, still have the rest of the week off work, so hopefully get lots of cards made!

Happy Easter!

Morning Friends! Happy Easter to everyone, hope the Bunny brought everyone loads of lovely chocolate! Also hope he didn't freeze his little tail off - it's freezing here, very damp and very cold!

Today's cards isn't really an Easter card, more a Spring card to remind us that it is supposed to be Spring and warming up!!!

I have the family coming over for lunch today - roast dinner, and strawberries and icecream and apple pie and icecream for dessert! Yum!!

Elegant Chair

Hello friends! Good Friday, and it was actually!! Nice and chilled, although this horrible weather is holding on!

My card today is winging its way to New Zealand as we speak, as it's my Godmother's birthday next week. I couldn't really go for anything too elaborate as it had to go in the post, so I kept it as simple and elegant as possible!

More pink roses!

Morning friends! Well the sun is shining this morning, but still chilly, so there might be hope for my two weeks off yet!!

This is a birthday card for my deputy headteacher at school! I have used some paper I had in my stash which has vintage postcards all over it. I used my trusty Spellbinders to cut out a layer, some ribbon , distressed all the edges, inked all the edges with tattered rose distress ink and added some lovely roses from Orchid Crafts!

Morning friends! Another beautiful day in the UK - hope it lasts!!

Today's card is for a friend of the family who turns 16 this week. I used another gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamp, and coloured it with Promarkers.

Turning 10!

Morning friends! Monday morning, good start to the week, only have to work until Friday then a whole two weeks off - yay!!!

This is a birthday card for a special little lady who turns 10 this week! I kept the card as flat as I could as it had to be posted airmail to South Africa. 

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley, and I coloured it with Promarkers, and cut out with Xcut dies. A little bit of inking round the edges, some glitter on the wings, and some faux stitching, and there we go!

Hello friends! Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend in the sun! The clocks have gone forward, so the evenings are longer - much better!!

Today's card is for a good friend at work. I have tried to distress the edges of the papers to give a vintage feel - you may just be able to see it in the photo.

Hello Blogland! Back with my great-niece Lola's 1st birthday cake! I really enjoyed making and decorating it - lots of hard work but definitely worth it!

Morning bloggers! First of a new month, and it's so cold!!!! It might just snow, or is that just wishful thinking??

I've injected some Spring colour into my card today, in the hopes of feeling warm! The layout is simple, just layering up some dies, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a sentiment stamped and the card curled to make a ribbon banner. 

Looking at the photo I think I may have stuck the squares on a bit skew, or maybe it's just my wonky photography!!
