For a Boy!

Morning everyone! Sunday again, so time for two more challenges to play along with! This is my card for Eclectic Ellapu and Dream Valley Challenges will be the post above!

Well, it was the big move down to Bath Spa University for Nadine yesterday! It was all so well organised when we got there, I was really impressed! Her room is small, tiny in fact, but once we got all her stuff in it looked okay! I did the typical mum thing and cried when we left, but I am so proud of her and all she has achieved to get there!

Right, enough blabbing, and on to my first card! Sheena is hosting the challenge at Eclectic Ellapu this week, and she has chosen 'For a Boy' theme. I chose to go down the baby route, as I don't have one for my stash!

What I have used:
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
Banners - Joy crafts

I would like to enter the following challenges please:
Card Makin Mamas - For the kids
Jellypark Friends - The sentiment is the key
Totally Papercrafts - Happy birthday Baby

Thank you for having a look, and please remember to pop over to Eclectic Ellapu to see what the other DT members have created and to link up your entry to our challenge! I will be back in a bit for my Dream Valley Challenge post!

Oldies birthday and For a Child!

Morning friends! Beware, this will be a bit of a long post, as I have DT creations for Eclectic Ellapu and Dream Valley Challenges to show you!

This week has been rather busy, which has been lovely! Last Sunday Nadine and I went to London to see Dirty Dancing, which was absolutely fantastic! We also had lunch and cocktails at Jamie Oliver's Diner in Piccadilly, so we thoroughly spoilt ourselves!! Graham has been on leave this past week, and is also off next week, so we have been pottering around the house. We went to Stamford on Friday and had a look around all the quirky little shops and the market, and then had lunch out.

Yesterday I went to Sir Stampalot in Peterborough for a demo by the very talented Clare Rowlands, the creator of Molly Blooms! It was a very informative couple of hours, and my head is spinning a bit with some lovely ideas!!

Art Deco

Morning Everyone! Sunday already, what a busy week! My cousin and his wife are visiting from South Africa, so I have spent a busy few days getting things ready for them, so my card for today's challenge got made very quickly yesterday morning - not like me to leave it til the last minute at all! We took them into town yesterday afternoon and showed them the sights of Peterborough (thankfully we have a cathedral!!), and did the traditional English pub thing, and then went out to a Mexican restaurant last night. They refused to go to bed until it was dark, so I hope they slept well as it's off to Duxford today to see all the planes (they are both pilots)!

Anyway, Sunday again, which means it's challenge time over at Eclectic Ellapu! Our theme this week is 'Art Deco'! Well, I will be honest, this one was a puzzler for me, but I found this gorgeous stamp at LOTV, which fit my take on the theme perfectly! I think everyone on the design team had a different take on the theme, but that's what makes us Eclectic!!

Team Pink are ‘In the Stars’!

Hello Everyone! It’s challenge time over at Eclectic Ellapu again, and this time the lovely Dawn is hosting! The theme that she has chosen is ‘In the Stars’, which can be interpreted any way you like! The Design Team have all gone along the astrological route, and this is my creation…

I will admit I was rather stumped with this one, but I thought a tag was a safe option as they always come in handy!!I have layered different blue paper after cutting their edges with a Martha Stewart border punch. They haven’t come out too well on the photo, but they are there!!

Please pop along to Eclectic Ellapu to see what the rest of the Pink Team came up with!
