Morning All! Friday at last, and what a week it's been! Looking forward to the weekend and my great-nephew's 1st birthday party tomorrow. It's cake making night tonight, so pop back tomorrow to see what I made for him!

As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK I went with a thank you card. I always love having thank you cards in my stash - you just never know when someone surprises you or does something for you and you can thank them with something from the heart...

Giving thanks

Hello All! Teensiest bit late with my post today, but for good reason - our great-nephew as born this morning, and we went to see him tonight at the hospital, so haven't really had two minutes to rub together until now! He is beautiful, full head of jet black hair, and is the spitting image of our nephew!

Morning Everyone! Friday again, definitely not complaining, last little bit until the weekend!

This card is a birthday card for Graham's Uncle and Godfather who lives on a farm in Devon. He is an avid wildlife fan, so I thought the dragonfly was really appropriate! For a Child

Morning Everyone! Well, what a week this has been! We had a wonderful visit from my cousin and his wife from South Africa, and had a busy few days with them! We went to Duxford on Sunday - completely awe inspiring, I didn't even know you got that many different planes!! On Monday they went to Cambridge and did some punting on the river, and on Tuesday my Mum came with and we went to Burghley House. Out for dinner on Tuesday night with the whole family (Johnathan managed to get home too!), and then they left to go to London on Wednesday morning to spend a few days there before going off to Germany and Poland!

Nadine received her A-level results yesterday, BBB, so she's definitely off to Bath Spa University in September! We are so proud of her, but I will miss her terribly!

Right, onto today!! It is the start of a new challenge over at Simply Create Too, and this time we would like to see a card for a child...

Bingo at Simply Create Too!

Hello Friends! It’s been another age since I’ve been on here again, but can only blame half term and being busy, which has been great! We went to see Johnathan in Norwich on Tuesday, and took my Mum with, which was fun! We trolled all the shops looking for a dress for Nadine for her prom, but didn’t find one, but we did online on Wednesday night! Yesterday we went to see Graham’s sister Karen in Derbyshire, and went to the Lea Rhododendron Gardens, which were spectacular!

Finally…another secret revealed!!

Hello Friends! Well, time to let another secret out, and this one I’ve been keeping for a few weeks…I have been offered a place on the DT for Simply Create Too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

What a busy week!!! I am really looking forward to working with the lovely team, and hope you will join us in all our challenges!
